A working ranch with four guest rooms, four porches, and a slow rhythm you'll match by your second morning. Enjoy coffee on one of our sunrise-facing porches and breakfast in the grand room — your stay, your tempo.
From the homestead
A breakfast encounter, unhurried.
Every breakfast begins on the ranch. Our yogurt is cultured from fresh milk, and our goat and sheep cheeses are handcrafted each weekend. Eggs are gathered daily from our free-range hens, while our sausage is seasoned and smoked using locally raised pork from neighboring pastures. Sourdough is proofed overnight, pastries are baked and glazed before sunrise, and every plate is finished with the freshest seasonal ingredients available from Sonoita's surrounding farms.
It's the way ranch families have eaten in this valley for generations — gourmet without the airs, sustainable because the supply chain ends at our back door.

The Wine Inn made our first visit to Sonoita feel special from beginning to end. I've never stayed at a bed and breakfast before, and this experience completely changed my expectations in the best way. The guest accommodations offered plenty of privacy while still having the charm and warmth you hope for in a B&B. Jason was a wonderful host, sharing local recommendations and making us feel welcome the entire stay. It's clear that he and Tamra have put a lot of heart into creating a memorable experience for their guests. They even had wine glasses available for us to take to local wineries for a discount on tastings, which was so nice to save a few dollars (which we then spent on bottles of wine to take home!) One of our favorite parts was the ranch itself. The open space, mountain views, and friendly animals gave the property an authentic feel that you simply don't get at a hotel. It gets super dark outside, so it was easy to see the beautiful night skies and clear view of stars. Breakfast was included in our stay, each morning, which was nice. Everything made for us was fresh and homemade/off their farm and it was obvious that a lot of care went into every bite/sip. They don't have cable/streaming (but they do have WiFi) but they have a huge library of book and DVDs to choose from as well as games. It was so fun to pick a DVD and watch in our room. Can't remember the last time we watched a movie from a DVD player! Our room was comfortable and inviting (and cool considering we stayed there in the summer) with thoughtful touches throughout, like little candies on our pillows. The only small thing we noticed was that the shower could use a little maintenance to improve the water flow/cleanliness, but it didn't take away from an otherwise excellent stay. Between the incredible hospitality, beautiful sunsets, and relaxing atmosphere, The Wine Inn is a place we'd happily visit again and recommend.
